Calls Cutting Benefits 'Callous'
WASHINGTON, Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa criticized Tuesday's opinion by House Republicans to cut unemployment benefits and shorten them to high propagandize graduates.

"It's bad adequate that Republicans blocked bills to emanate jobs, though now they cut stagnation advantages for people who can't find work," Hoffa said. "People can't 'just get a job' when there are 4 impoverished people for each pursuit opening."
The House of Representatives on Tuesday voted to extend a payroll taxation cut and stagnation word over a Dec. 31 death date. However, a check cuts stagnation advantages by 40 weeks, requires recipients to have a high propagandize diploma or GED and charges them for re-employment services. Republicans insisted on these cuts.
