MONTREAL (AP) â€" A Canadian judge has ruled in preference of Arturo Gatti's widow in a legal dispute over a late boxer's estate.
Amanda Rodrigues was a transparent leader in Friday's verdict, that came after a deeply personal authorised conflict over a $3.4 million happening that pitted Rodrigues opposite Gatti's mom and youngest brother.
The decider ruled that Gatti's final will â€" sealed in 2009 â€" was legitimate. The Gatti family has argued a fighter was hoodwinked into signing a will only weeks before his puzzling genocide during a Brazilian resort.
The family argued a will from 2007 that left all to them should have been deliberate valid, though a sealed duplicate has never been found.
The Gatti family does not accept conclusions that a former champion committed suicide.
